Moses Malone is best known for his quote when he played for the NBA's Philadelhpia 76ers. Just before the 1983 NBA Playoffs were about to start a reporter asked Moses how he thought the playoffs were gonna go for the 76ers. My man Moses simply replied, "Four, four, four". Meaning that him and the rest of the Sixers were roll peoples asses in each round four, four, four and win the championship. That is straight up pimpish. Moses didn't play college ball because he probably couldn't have gotten into college, even with an army of tudors, and it didn't matter. He was the first cat to bypass college and go pro. Now thats gangster. He signed with the Utah Stars out of Petersburgh High. Moses was an ABA All-Rookie Team Member in 1975 and an ABA All-Star in 74-75. He-Man was sold to Spirits of St. Louis in December 1975 after Utah franchise folded, but missed most of second ABA season (75-76) due to a broken foot. After crushing the ABA, Moses went on to many All-Star seasons in the NBA with the Houston Rockets and Philadelphia 76ers. He was the most dominant NBA center of the 1980's. He led that 76ers team I mentioned earlier to the 1982-83 NBA title along with former ABA foes Julius Erving and Bobby Jones. Was the very last ABA player to retire - he played 17 games for the San Antonio Spurs during the 1994-95 season. That meant that Malone played an incredible 19 NBA seasons after the NBA/ABA merger. Now that is one bad MFer.
